Same Prayer, Different Wave Lengths

"Max, " I said as he came in from school, "let's stop and pray for Daddy. He has a very important meeting right now."

"Okay."

"Jesus, please be with Daddy. Send the Holy Spirit to speak through him. Give him Your peace and wisdom..."

"And," Max interrupted to add, "may no robbers come and shoot him."

"Um, Amen."

Here's hoping God hears us both.

First Solo in Seven Years

The bride was indeed a beauty to behold. The wedding was wonderful and the reception was tons of fun. But this, this was my favorite thing.

I know I'm a bit prejudiced, but a mama is allowed to brag every once in awhile.
