Please don't take this the wrong way, but b/c of your yellow wall and the blue tablecloth it kind of looks like your nativity is set on a beach. I think the trees and the canopy contribute too.
It is beautiful though and your daughter did a great job.
How beautiful! We have the beginnings of a Fontanini collection (just a few pieces) and now I'm inspired to try to find some more. I remember them being very inexpensive in Rome. Another reason to go back to Rome!
I also wanted to mention how sweet your little girl's Silent Night solo was. My girls love to watch it, especially since my little one danced to Silent Night at her ballet recital last weekend. She put on her flower girl dress earlier, which looks like the one your daughter wore, and started singing in the living room :) Love your blog and glad to find it through Melissa's link!
Blair the Fontanini are very inexpensive in Rome. In fact in October I bought ten new figures for about $5 a piece! If you go back, get some more for me:).
What Mackenzie wore for her solo was in fact her flower girl dress from my brother's wedding in July. Check the archives to see how it looked then.

Well, Bethlehem is kind of in a desert :)
What a beautiful collection! I'm so glad you shared these pictures, they make your previous story even more precious!
