Jumping To Find Joy
Today was one of those days for Aiden. He was sick yesterday and had a late and restless night last night which left him a bit grumpy. When he woke up from his nap and I saw this pouting face, I decided it might help him to jump off a little energy.
He took off like a wild man.
Flew through the air...and, came down much happier.
Today I got my money's worth out of our trampoline!

My mom does that sometimes! When she sees that one of us is having a "grumpy" day, she sends us out to the trampoline for at least 10 minutes. We always come back in beaming! I believe our trampoline has payed for itself MANY times over!!!
Whew! Sounds hopeful for me. If you have any fun trampoline activities I can pass on to my little ones, let me know.
Where to start.........:-)
We sometimes play a game called log, where one of us is "it." "It" lays down on the ground (like a log?!?!) The "it" rolls from one side of the tramp to the other. while the others try to get away by jumping over and around "it"(If your tramp doesn't have a net, then make sure you watch them really close!!!)
Another favorite game, is called mad dog. The "it" gets down on all fours, and keeps their eyes closed. (because your children are young they can keep their eyes open!) Then "it" tries to catch the others while staying on all fours! It is lots of fun!
(just a note, we didn't come up with the names. We think they're kinda weird!!!)Have fun jumping!
:-)
Thanks. Mackenzie told me that she wants a trampoline birthday party this year so these may come in handy.
Her birthday is at the end of August so we'll see if we are willing to battle the heat to try it.
