Lest you think we're perfect. It's amazing that we started with these and managed to end with the one above. An Easter miracle. Notice that in the not so happy photo I'm still smiling. Last year at this time that would not have been the case. I've come a long way. It's a new season. A season of hope. A season of joy. Isn't God amazing!

You have to appreciate how most of the time kids don't hold back what they're feeling. If he's unhappy, he'll let you know. But fortunately, it looks like he recovered quickly!
His cry was one of frustration. He LOVES to be outside. He LOVES to play. So...holding him steady for a photo did not fit into his plans.
Aiden was the same way until his language skills caught up with his feelings. I just figured this is life as it is right now. Might as well remember it!
