Today the idea of tithing came up and I asked Mackenzie, "Do you know what tithe means?"
"Oh," she said thoughtfully, "you mean like 'tithings' of comfort and joy?"

well, "technically" comfort and joy could be rewards for tithing, right?
Yes indeed. I actually had the same thought. If we all thought that way, the church would be rich!
